How you pay – and why it’s safe
You should never have to wire money to a stranger’s bank account in a country you have not visited yet. With us, you don’t.
- A small deposit holds your trip – about US$100 per person. That is all it takes to lock in your dates and your private guide.
- You settle the balance before your trip begins – and you are protected the whole way: free cancellation up to 14 days before departure, then a 50% refund up to 7 days before.
- Pay the way you already trust: PayPal, credit or debit card (processed by Stripe), or Wise. Every channel is internationally regulated and carries full buyer protection. No bank wires, no crypto, no cash up front.

We keep our booking and cancellation terms simple, fair and fully transparent, with no hidden fees. Please read these alongside your written itinerary, which always states the exact inclusions and price agreed before you book.
Deposit and payment
To confirm your private tour we ask for a deposit, with the balance due before your trip begins. We accept secure international payments by PayPal, credit or debit card (via Stripe) and Wise. You receive a written confirmation and receipt for every payment.
Cancellation and refunds
- 14 or more days before departure: full refund of what you have paid.
- 7 to 13 days before departure: 50% refund.
- Within 7 days of departure: non-refundable, except in cases of force majeure (see below).
Any third-party costs already committed on your behalf (for example non-refundable hotel or train bookings) are handled transparently and explained to you in writing.
Changes to your trip
Because every tour is private and tailor-made, we can usually adjust dates, pacing or hotels before departure. Just contact your trip designer and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Force majeure
If events outside anyone’s control (such as extreme weather, natural disasters or the temporary closure of a scenic area) affect your trip, we will work with you to reschedule or arrange a fair solution. Because our team is local and on the ground, we can put a Plan B in place quickly.
