Begin your marriage in a place that looks like a dream — the floating sandstone pillars that inspired Avatar, mist drifting between the peaks at first light, and the lantern-lit river town of Fenghuang reflected in still water at night. This is a 100% private honeymoon for two: your own English-speaking local guide and private car, never shared with strangers, woven around the moments couples remember — a sunrise viewpoint kept just for you, a candlelit dinner above the canyon, and a professional Miao & Hanfu photo session in the peaks, included free (worth $299). We live in Zhangjiajie; this is our home, and we will make it feel like yours.

Your day-by-day (a 7-day romance, easily shaped to 6 or 8)
This is our most-loved honeymoon shape — seven gentle days through the Avatar peaks and on to Fenghuang. Want it shorter and more intense, or a slower eight days with an extra spa morning and a private mountain picnic? Just tell us; every honeymoon we build is one of a kind.
Day 1 — Arrive Zhangjiajie: a soft landing & welcome toast
Met at arrivals with a name board and a smooth private transfer — no taxi queue, no stress. We keep day one deliberately easy so you can settle in and breathe the cooler mountain air. Check into your comfortable retreat near the National Forest Park, then an unhurried welcome dinner with a quiet toast to the two of you, and an early night before the mountains.
Day 2 — The real Avatar mountains, just the two of you
Up the Bailong Elevator — a glass lift bolted to a 326m cliff — into the world of floating quartz-sandstone pillars that inspired the Hallelujah Mountains in Avatar. Your guide times Yuanjiajie and the ‘Avatar Hallelujah’ pillar to dodge the crowds, then leads you to quieter, hideaway lookouts most visitors never find — space to simply stand together and take it in. A relaxed local lunch, then back down at your own pace.
Day 3 — Tianzi Mountain sunrise & the sea of clouds
The honeymoon moment. An early, private start up Tianzi Mountain to catch the sea of clouds at first light — the peaks emerging from the mist like islands in a white ocean, with the West Sea and Emperor’s Throne lookouts at their emptiest and most magical. Your guide knows exactly where to stand and when to step back, so it is just the two of you and the sunrise. A slow afternoon to rest, with an optional spa.
Day 4 — Your free Miao & Hanfu photo session in the peaks
Your signature day, included free (worth $299): the two of you styled in flowing silks and Miao silver and photographed by a real photographer against the Avatar peaks — your own xianxia fairytale, captured to keep forever. The rest of the day stays soft and free — a gentle ten-mile-gallery stroll, a riverside coffee, or simply time together. (Add the couples drone shot for +$200 if you’d like the sweeping aerial.)
Day 5 — Tianmen Mountain & a candlelit dinner above the canyon
One of the world’s longest passenger cable cars (nearly 7.5km) glides up over the famous 99-bend road to Heaven’s Gate, the vast natural arch through the mountain. The glass skywalks are entirely optional, with solid-floor paths alongside. As the day softens, your guide arranges a private candlelit dinner with a view — just the two of you, good food, and the mountains going gold at dusk.
Day 6 — To Fenghuang: the lantern-lit town & a private river boat
A scenic private drive to Fenghuang, one of China’s most romantic riverside towns. Settle into a riverside room, then as the lanterns come on, a private evening boat along the Tuojiang River — stilt houses, red lanterns and the Rainbow Bridge all glowing and mirrored in the water. A slow walk through the old lanes afterwards, hand in hand, with a quiet drink overlooking the river.
Day 7 — A relaxed Fenghuang morning & a fond farewell
No early scramble. A full breakfast and an unhurried morning to wander the riverside or revisit a favourite corner in daylight, then your private guide and driver see you off properly — not a kerbside drop — reachable on WhatsApp right up until you’re on your way. Onward home married, with a camera full of floating peaks, silver headdresses and lantern light on the water.
