We book tickets for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (the Wulingyuan core scenic area) and Tianmen Mountain in your passport name, so bring your passport on the day. At the Forest Park you scan it at the gate. Prices are in CNY per person and include CNY 3 visitor insurance. Go to the order form.

- All three tickets are valid for 4 days. The 4 days start on the day you first enter the park, so you can buy ahead.
- The transport pass covers the Tianzi Mountain, Huangshizhai and Yangjiajie cable cars and the Bailong Elevator. Ticket 2 gives any four one-way rides within the 4 days. Ticket 3 gives unlimited rides within the 4 days. For foreign passport holders the pass costs the same for adults and children.
- Ages follow your passport. Every traveler, children included, needs to give their own passport details.
- Not included: the Ten-Mile Gallery tram, a guide or transfers. Ask us if you need any of these.
Which gate: the East Gate has Line A and Line B. Line A goes up Tianzi Mountain and comes down from Yuanjiajie. Line B goes up to Yuanjiajie and comes down from Tianzi Mountain. Not sure which one? Tell us in the form what you want to see and we will pick for you.
Later days: each day you enter the park needs its own gate and time slot. Tell us your plan for each day and we book them all together. Changing a day at the gate depends on availability, so it is better to plan ahead.
Changes and refunds: tickets cannot be refunded once issued. To change your entry date, gate or time slot, message us on WhatsApp (+86 189 7441 2915) or email info@chinafantasytravel.com before 20:00 Beijing time the day before your visit and we will change it for you. Each ticket can be changed up to twice, depending on availability on the new date.
Tianmen Mountain
Prices in CNY per person, including CNY 3 visitor insurance. Booked separately from the Forest Park.

- Under 14: free entry ticket, arranged at the park on the day with the child’s passport.
- Senior prices depend on the park checking your passport.
- Three lines, same price: Line A takes the city cable car up and the express cable car down. Line B takes the express cable car up and the city cable car down. Line C takes the express cable car both ways from the mountain gate. All three use the escalators inside the mountain to reach the summit.
- From 13 October 2026 the city cable car is closed, so Lines A and B are paused and only Line C can be booked. We will update this page when they reopen.
- Line C starts at the mountain gate. A free shuttle bus runs there from the city cable car station.
- Not included: the Tianmen Cave escalator (CNY 32 return), shoe covers for the glass skywalk (CNY 5) and the summit chairlift. Buy these on site if you want them.
Changes and refunds: you can cancel for a refund before 20:00 Beijing time the day before your visit. The card fee is not refunded. Dates cannot be changed. To move your visit, cancel by the same deadline and book again. Refunds cover the whole order: the park does not refund single tickets from a group order.
How to book
- Choose your tickets and fill in the form below: visit date, preferred entry time, entry gate (Forest Park only), and each traveler’s passport name, passport number, nationality and date of birth.
- Nothing is charged when you submit. We check the details and send you a way to pay: a card payment link (the payer covers a 3% card fee) or Alipay.
- Once you have paid, we book the tickets and email you a confirmation within 24 hours, with your entry gate and time slot. No paper ticket is needed: your passport is your ticket.
- On the day, bring your passport.
Booking deadline: book and pay at least 3 days before your visit.
Where the prices come from (checked 4 October 2026):
- Park entry + eco-bus, CNY 236 (CNY 239 in the table above, with the CNY 3 insurance): the Wulingyuan District tourism bureau ticket page.
- Cable car and Bailong Elevator passes (4 rides or unlimited): announced by the Hunan provincial government in December 2023.
- Age bands for Forest Park entry and the eco-bus: the Hunan provincial government’s English site.
- Tianmen Mountain: we have not found the bundled price or the senior prices on any public web page. We confirmed them with the park on 30 September and 1 October 2026.
- Older guides quote CNY 225 for Forest Park entry plus bus. That was the standard price before 2026.
