China Private Tour FAQ
Answers to common planning, booking, payment, transport and destination questions for private China tours.
Planning & Itinerary
How many days do I need for China?
For Zhangjiajie only, 5 days can work. For Beijing, Xi’an and Zhangjiajie, consider around 10 days. For Beijing, Xi’an, Zhangjiajie and Shanghai, 12 to 15 days is more realistic.
Can I customize the itinerary?
Yes. Destination order, travel pace, hotels, guide arrangements and special interests can be customized.
Is a private China tour better than a group tour?
A private tour is usually better for families, seniors, couples and travelers who want flexibility. A group tour may be cheaper but has less control over pace and route.
Zhangjiajie & Destinations
Is Zhangjiajie worth visiting?
Yes, especially if you want dramatic mountain scenery and a strong nature contrast inside a China itinerary.
Should I choose Zhangjiajie or Guilin?
Zhangjiajie is more dramatic mountain scenery. Guilin is softer river and countryside scenery. Nature lovers may enjoy both if time allows.
Family & Senior Travel
Can the tour be senior-friendly?
Yes. The itinerary can reduce rushed days, add private transfers, choose convenient hotels and allow more rest time.
Is China suitable for families with children?
Yes, especially with private pacing and careful transport planning. Zhangjiajie, Beijing, Shanghai, Guilin and Chengdu can all work for families.
Payment & Booking
Do you offer deposit + balance payment?
Deposit + balance payment: 10–20% deposit confirms your booking; balance is paid after signing the formal tour contract upon arrival in China. Final conditions should be confirmed in writing before travel.
What is included in the price?
It depends on the final proposal. Guide service, private vehicles, hotels, tickets, trains or flights should be clearly listed as included or not included.
Language, Transport & Practical Issues
Can I travel in China without speaking Chinese?
Yes, but private guide and local support make the trip much easier, especially for tickets, transport, restaurants and hotels.
Do I need domestic flights or high-speed trains?
Most multi-city China itineraries use high-speed trains or domestic flights. The best choice depends on route, time and comfort.
