Short answer: Yes, you can visit Zhangjiajie with a Spanish-speaking guide. We are a licensed travel company based in Zhangjiajie, and we have guides who work in Spanish, assigned by the day, for the National Forest Park, Tianmen Mountain and Fenghuang on any of our private Zhangjiajie tours. A Spanish-speaking guide is not available on every date, so send us your dates first; the quote states which days have a Spanish-speaking guide. We can also provide one in Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai and Chongqing, so a multi-city trip can be planned in one go.

How a Spanish-speaking guide is arranged

  • One guide and one vehicle for your group only; no strangers, no shopping stops.
  • The guide and the car are quoted separately. Write “Spanish-speaking guide” in your enquiry and the quote lists it day by day.
  • The earlier you send your dates, the more likely a Spanish speaker is free. If none is available on a date, we say so in the quote rather than promise and swap later.

Three ways to do it

  1. Spanish-speaking guide throughout. The simplest choice for a group that speaks only Spanish.
  2. English-speaking guide. More dates available and a lower day rate (see our English-speaking private guide page). It works for families where the children or one adult speaks English and translates for the others.
  3. Car with driver, no guide. For travellers who have been to the park before or are happy with translation apps; the driver does not speak English.

What Spanish-speaking travellers ask us

Visa. Holders of ordinary Spanish passports can visit China visa-free for up to 30 days under the policy in force until 31 December 2026; Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Uruguay are on the same list. Mexican passport holders can use the 240-hour visa-free transit with an onward ticket to a third country or region. Check again for your own passport before you travel.

Language. You can write to us in Spanish and we reply in Spanish. During the trip we message on WhatsApp.

Payment. Quotes are in Chinese yuan. A 20% deposit holds the guide and car, paid by card link (3% card fee) or Alipay; the balance is paid after you arrive in China and sign the tour contract. The deposit goes to the licensed operator, Hunan Garden International Travel Service Co., Ltd., licence L-HUN-304201.

How to book in three steps

  1. Send your dates, group size, where you are staying and “Spanish-speaking guide”.
  2. The same working day you get a day-by-day route and a total price, with the guide’s language shown for each day.
  3. Pay the 20% deposit; the balance after you arrive and sign the contract.

Frequently asked questions

Is a Spanish-speaking guide more expensive than an English-speaking one?

Yes. Spanish-speaking guides are fewer, so the day rate is higher; we put the exact figure in your quote once we know your dates and group size.

Can we have the Spanish-speaking guide for one day only?

Yes. Guides are assigned by the day, so you can book a Spanish speaker for Tianmen Mountain and an English-speaking guide, or no guide, on the other days.

Our family mixes Spanish and English. What do you suggest?

Tell us who speaks what. Options are a Spanish-speaking guide throughout, an English-speaking guide with a family member translating, or a private car with driver only. We quote whichever you choose.

How do we get to Zhangjiajie from Spain or Latin America?

There is no direct flight. Most guests connect through Beijing, Shanghai or Shenzhen, then take a domestic flight or high-speed train to Zhangjiajie. See our guide on how to get to Zhangjiajie.

When do you reply, and can we write in Spanish?

Enquiries received between 8:00 and 20:00 Beijing time usually get an itinerary and price within two hours; that is 1:00 to 13:00 in Spain in winter and 2:00 to 14:00 in summer. Write in Spanish and we reply in Spanish.
